About Dr. Bose
Dr. Maya Bose became interested in healing at an early age when a hip injury lead her to a gifted chiropractor in Massachusetts. His unique combination of three different techniques not only facilitated her recovery, it inspired a mentorship over two summers, during which time she worked toward a Bachelor Degree in Cognitive Science at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
From there she attended The National College of Chiropractic, and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1993. Valuing the practical experience she gained by her mentorship with Dr. Newton, she worked as his associate from 1994-1996. After practicing on the east coast for 10 years, Dr. Bose moved to Northern California in 2007. She has been in practice for 21 years.
Continually implementing effective methods of healing to benefit her patients, Dr. Bose has extensive training beyond formal chiropractic college. A summary of her education follows:
